About the Project
Normandie Beautiful is a StreetsLA project developed in coordination with Council District 8 to make Normandie Avenue a safer, greener and more welcoming corridor in South Los Angeles. New sidewalks, lighting, landscaping, bike facilities and safety upgrades will make walking, biking, rolling and traveling easier and more comfortable for everyone.
These improvements will transform the street into a true community asset, connecting neighbors, supporting local activity and reflecting the pride of South L.A.

Project Area
The primary project corridor is Normandie Avenue between Interstate 10 and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Improvements will also extend to select adjacent streets to enhance safety and connectivity within the surrounding area.
Project boundaries include:
- North: Interstate 10
- East: Ellendale Place/Budlong Avenue
- South: Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard
- West: La Salle Avenue/Denker Avenue
